I’ve read all three books and am trying to wait patiently for the next one. You do a great job with the overall plot and the twists and turns of a couple subplots, too. Keep up the good work and get that fourth book finished soon.
I love this series of books and can’t wait for the next one to come out. The author writes the books like a suspense movie script. It holds my attention all the way through. Every chapter keeps my mind running the story like a movie playing in my head. I’m always wondering about the next predicament Rowan will get himself into. Love it.
My wife and I read the series together. The sense of adventure and the suspense of what was going to happen next kept us up at night reading. As a veteran and retired police officer, I love how Rowan is protecting this country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. And of course, he chooses Glock as his weapon of choice. Lol!
I like to take my time reading these stories, because there are so many twists and turns, and I don’t want each book to end. The subplots going on with Rowan intrigue me, and I can’t wait to see how he chooses to react to the spiritual element of his journey.
After reading Consummate Betrayal, I couldn’t wait for the next book because I liked the characters so much. Rowan is a kickass guy and his friends and colleagues are pretty cool too. Of course, there’s the woman he falls for, who loves him through everything. Kudos to the author for creating a complex set of characters, and for making me care so much about them.
Consummate Betrayal is an easy to read if broadly-drawn action thriller with lots of twists and turns. The novel reads like an action movie and it’s tempting to start casting it as you read. There’s definitely a lot going on here, but it never gets confusing. Plot ranks 4 out of a possible 5!

Very well written and keeps your interest throughout the book…at times I could envision myself in the book…great job!
An enticing blend: a few parts cloak-and-dagger, a few parts intimacy, one part terror, a large measure of devotion, and a dash of pure evil. Well mixed and cleverly executed.
On September 11, 2001, the terrorist attacks on American Soil took us by surprise and to this day we still (as individuals) secretly profile others that appear to resemble the hijackers. This book is a must read, as it will clearly show another example of wrongful profiling with a twist.
This book is very well put together, and has a super story line. You have the terrorist plot, the U.S. Government, the sexy Airline Manager, and of course the good guy (that once or twice I even thought was the bad guy). I look forward to this author’s next book!
I just finished your book Consummate Betrayal and I loved it. It is a great mystery and romance all in one. I can hardly wait for your next book.
Once you start to read this book, you’ll find it hard to put down. So much action and intrigue! When you get to the end of the book, you want it to go on and on.
OMG…you know I could be Danielle. Everything you described – it’s like she thinks the same way I do, and her and Rowan – wow, what a combination.
One of the first things that struck me was that this espionage was written by a woman. You really captured the gritty, tough talking, gutsy male voice. I’m not easy with fiction, however I was willing to take the leap here – but it wasn’t really a leap, it was good writing!
After we got home from church I started reading, I was on Chapter 6. I couldn’t stop, kept reading until supper time and got it all done. How long before the sequel comes out?
Thanks a lot, I stayed up until 2am reading until I finished the whole book. So now, when is the next one going to be available??
I started reading last Wed. night. Had to work Thursday, so after a couple hours, I had to go to bed. But then, I got up, because I had to keep reading, to find out what was going to happen to these people…they’re like real people to me.
Consummate Betrayal is a book that in all honesty the cover does not give away anything of what lays beneath it. I don’t know quite how to say anything about this book without giving some of the story away. I have never read a book quite like it to be honest, it is in your face, gritty and to be honest some parts were hard for me to read without feeling uncomfortable and feeling great pain for the main character Rowan Milani. Having said that it is in no way a criticism of the author in fact it is just the opposite. Mary Yungeburg is an author that I would gladly read any books that she writes, she holds nothing back. It is nice to read about characters that have honour and care about others even if at first you think they are cold hearted and a jackass. The research that went into the book must have been enormous because the detail that is given is unbelievable. I honestly can not believe that this is her first book, if I had been given this book and not told anything about it I would have thought that she had been writing books for years. I can only wish to have the talent of this woman. Her characters are so real and believeable that you could almost believe that if you turned on a television you would hear about them in a news story. I have to admit I do not normally read this type of story. If it bites you or howls at you or falls from heaven or is set in Yester year then I am your girl but as a reviewer I am finding my tastes expanding and going into directions most interesting. If you love a story to have you on the edge of your seat at the turn of ever page then Consummate Betrayal is one book I would recommend that you add to your TBR list.
